About
One wedding a day, on a private forest property.
Emerald Forest is a wedding venue on private land: ponderosa pine, a meadow mown through the middle of it, a pond with a rowboat tied at the edge. One couple a day — on your date there is nobody else booked and nothing to work around.
The property
The ceremony stands in the open, on mown grass, with the pines behind it. Dinner is at long tables in the same meadow. The pond is a short walk down from the tables, and the rowboat stays tied where it is.
Every photograph on this site is of this property — not a styled set, and not somebody else’s venue. The whole shoot is in the gallery.

How a date is settled
The open dates are on the front page. One wedding a day means a day is either free or it is not — there is no second wedding to fit around yours, and no shorter slot to be moved into.
Nothing here books itself. Pick a day, send the enquiry under it, and we answer within a day. Private tours run most weekdays, which is when the place is quiet enough to hear it.
The numbers
- From
- $12,000
- Ceremony
- 180 seated
- Dinner
- 140 at the table
What the starting price covers, and what it does not, we will tell you exactly. It is the second question every enquiry asks.
What does not happen here
- No second wedding on your day.
- No self-booking and no deposit button. This site takes no money and holds no date; a date is settled between you and us, in writing.
- No cookies on the public pages, no analytics, no advertising pixels, no mailing list. What the enquiry form collects — and it is all of it — is written out in the privacy notice.
Getting in touch
Write, and you will have an answer within a day. Tell us the date you are thinking of and roughly how many people; that is enough to say whether the day is free.
